This 2 oz pure silver legal tender coin brings Roosevelt’s personal bowie knife to life in stunning high relief, shaped detail, and antiqued finish measuring 150 x 36.9 mm in size. Purchased from Tiffany & Co. in 1884, this exact knife accompanied the young Roosevelt through some of the most formative years of his life—before the Rough Riders, before the White House, before the myth became man.
Roosevelt was frequently photographed with this knife in the 1880s, its ornate guard and distinctive hilt immortalized in early studio portraits. We’ve recreated it faithfully in .999 fine silver as every design element is directly inspired by the original artifact—translating one of Roosevelt’s most iconic possessions into a museum-worthy piece of numismatic art.
Issued by Samoa and minted by Spectres in 2026, this is the second release in our exclusive Roosevelt series, following the acclaimed Roosevelt Hunting Knife.
